Równać Szanse (Equal Opportunities) Programme

01.03.2021 - 31.10.2023
project targeted at Youth
The aim of the programme is to give young people a good start in adult life. Równać Szanse supports young people from smaller communities to achieve their goals autonomously and consciously, thinking ahead to their own future. After all, these young people have the same right as their peers from large urban agglomerations to try to succeed to the best of their ability and to make the most of the opportunities that life will bring them.

Who can participate?

The programme is open to young people aged 13-19 from towns with a population of 20,000 or less. Through interesting projects, we want young people to find out what they can be successful at and be appreciated by others - wherever they want to live. Only in this way can they become self-reliant and independent people who set deliberate goals for themselves with complete awareness. First those concerning education and then those concerning adulthood.

At the heart of the Equal Opportunities programme are local projects that are designed to be an interesting challenge for young people and a chance to work with others. Participants in our projects agree on a common goal they want to achieve. They learn about planning and teamwork, local history, culture and tradition. They make new friends. They act for the benefit of the local community. They develop passions and interests and prove themselves in completely new situations.
