The Civis polonus Foundation is implementing a programme to support the development of volunteering in Warsaw's after-school education institutions from 2022.
The training programme within the framework of the ‘Warsaw Volunteers’ project is attended by such institutions as: youth cultural centres, boarding and dormitory schools, children's gardens, municipal sports centres or after-school work centres.

- improve the model of cooperation with volunteers in the establishments,
- to create a community and network of volunteer coordinators and volunteers,
- to exchange good practices concerning volunteering.
What do we do?
The programme consists of:
In 2024, as part of the Warsaw Volunteers, we are organising educational forums for volunteer coordinators in the establishments.
Educational forums for coordinators of volunteering in non-formal education institutions of the City of Warsaw are training meetings (educational and networking) for all interested employees of Warsaw's out-of-school education institutions. The forums are combined with study visits to Warsaw institutions or NGOs.
- group training for programme participants, combined with study visits to institutions in the area of the capital city of Warsaw where well-developed volunteering functions,
- individual coaching support in the form of workshops for employees of a given institution.
